Wilt, Fall, Root, Rise, Bloom Beyond Perfectionism Talk

Led by Martine Sorthe (Founder of Bloom Beyond @bloombeyond)

Gather together to embrace the journey of Blooming Beyond Perfectionism through powerful drawing exercises and journaling prompts. Together, we combat what allows shame to grow - judgment, silence, and secrecy - by bringing our imperfections up to our conscious awareness with wholehearted love.

Wabi-Sabi Talk from Japanese Tea Culture

Led by Junko Takai (@junkowatanabewine)

Learning tea ceremony since teenage years, Junko was interested in what wine and tea have in common. She studied abroad in France and worked in New York as wine specialist. Now she is teaching tea ceremony in Tulum.

Zen was born in 16 generations of Samurai family in Japan and grew up with real swords. He has been teaching Samurai philosophy, sword techniques and wisdoms in Asia, Europe, and United States, and now Tulum.

The Art of Emptiness (Ma) Drawing Workshop From a Multicultural Perspective

Led by Darby Summerville (@darbydoesyoga)

Explore the power of emptiness and free your creative expression in this transformative drawing workshop that explores the Japanese philosophy of Ma — the art of emptiness. You will have the opportunity to experience the beauty of Japanese principles and practice them in your creative masterpiece. Guided by her own journey of self-cultivation, Darby is a multiracial Japanese woman who uses drawing to explore and connect with her Japanese culture. Through the practice of Japanese philosophy and principles, honoring tradition and embracing the present, we can welcome imperfection and find beauty in simplicity, while discovering new ways to connect with our true selves.

Lunch

Led by Paulina (Founder of D’Raices @d_raicesmx)

Opportunity to order lunch with 25% off the entire D’Raices menu.

Eco Print On Recycled Fabrics Workshop

Led by Karen (Founder of Tulum Art Studio @tulumartstudio)

We will up-cycle your damaged or stained fabrics with eco-printing & bundle dyeing techniques using botanicals from Tulum jungle and compostable food skins.

Reiki Session

Led by Mariah (@thehealingmaya)

Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing, a type of alternative medicine. Mariah will use a technique called palm healing or hands-on healing through which a "universal energy" is said to be transferred through the palms of the practitioner to the patient in order to encourage emotional or physical healing.

Goddesswap

Led by Martine Sorthe (Founder of Bloom Beyond @bloombeyond)

Ongoing exchange of items between the Tulum Goddesswappers.

Tea Time and Imperfect and Impermanent Poetry Workshop

Led by Paulina (Founder of D’Raises @d_raicesmx) & Kate

We will be provided hot cups of tea as we heal perfectionism through words and poetry writing, overcoming the stare of a blank slate.

Flowing With Presence: A Playful Community Yoga Workshop

Led by Mish Virata (Founder of Mish Virata @fearlessflier) & Katherine Lee Borse (Founder of Palm Beach Healing Arts @katherine_lee_borse)

Discover the transformative power of wabi-sabi through mindful movement, yogic breathwork, and dynamic partner-based acro yoga poses with Mish and Katherine. We will embrace impermanence in a supportive and non-judgmental environment as we let go of perfection, cultivate self-acceptance, and flow with the beauty of the present moment. Beginners and all levels are welcome to join; no partner necessary - just an open mind and desire to connect with the community.

“Reading Our Beings” Embodiment Workshop

Led by Pamella Violeta Legaspi C (@leeralser_experienciasdelalma)

An embodiment workshop through which we experience the divine feminine through dance, theater, and yoga. We read “Women Who Run with the Wolves” in a ceremonial circle and we receive the information of the book through our bodies, our personal experiences, and the power of the tribe sharing. We integrate and co-create powerful and poetic embodied symbols that help us connect with our soul wild woman language.

Optional Dinner

Led by Martine Sorthe (Founder of Bloom Beyond @bloombeyond)

We gather for dinner at a local restaurant in La Valeta.
